The effect Apollo 11 had on the world

Apollo 11 caused large advancements in the field of medicen. One part of the mission that helped the medicinal field was zero gravity, zero gravity causes bone and muscle loss, this helped by giveing doctors information to help prevent bone loss in people on earth. another advancement in the field was that the astronauts had no medical professionals on the ship, this helped doctors with ways to walk people without medical training through medical situations. Another advancement made was in radiation protection and therapy, the astronauts were exposed to large amounts of radiation, this helped doctors come up with new ways to protect the people of earth from radiation.

One efect that Apollo 11 had on the world was the amount of people going for science degrees in the years before the mission tripled due to the space race makeing americans competitive and some americans wanted to help by geting a degree and going to NASA. Another advancement in the field of technology was with computers, the brightest students at MIT were tasked with makeing a giudence system, they tried multiple aproches but the only solution semed to be to use a computer which in the 60's  still took up an entire room, the students had to make one the size of a small comand modual and leave room for the astronauts and other equipment, they decided to use an integrated curcuit which was a new technology which aloued computers to be made smaller. Without Apollo 11 we would not have computers that can fit on our desks, the smart devices that we religh on so heavily today, we would not have the internet.
